The FilmFrenzy Filmmakers Bootcamp is an opportunity to get a hands on, real world introduction to "what it takes to make a film."  Participants will have the opportunity to work with area filmmakers and instructors on screenwriting, filmmaking and editing.  You’ll get the tips you need to get you Ahead of the Curve at this year’s FilmFrenzy.

Course: Saturday, September 26

10 a.m. Overview of the Filmmaking Process
Telling the Story:  ideas, screenwriting and story boarding
Preparing for the Renton Film Frenzy
Legal Stuff and Release Forms
1 p.m. Lunch on your own
2 p.m. Hands on camera lessons from professional filmmakers followed an editing session in a brand new Macintosh lab.
4:45 p.m. Wrap Up
   

Who Should Attend
Beginning and novice filmmakers will benefit from the Bootcamp. Plus this is an opportunity for more experienced filmmakers to hone their skills and ask the experts for tips and advice.

Limited Number of Participants
The Bootcamp is limited to 35 participants.

Cost
Free if you register for the FilmFrenzy.  $25 if you don’t register for the Frenzy.  Lunch is on your own.
