FilmFrenzy Prizes

The Curvee
A coveted “Curvee” Award (Renton is, after all, Ahead of the Curve) is being especially designed by the glass artists of Uptown Glassworks and students from the Renton School District.

The Prizes
The top films will be screened during the Curvee Award Gala awards presentation on Tuesday, October 23, at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center. During the program, the following awards will be presented:

Best Picture $500

Open Division
First Prize $250
Second Prize $200
Third Prize $150

Student Division
First Prize $250
Second Prize $200
Third Prize $150
   

For 2012, the Best Picture award winner will not receive an Open or Student Division cash prize. This allows us to recognize an additional filmmaker.

Reel Grrls Woman Filmmaker
Best Use of Renton
Special Judges Award

People's Choice Award
Thanks to the Renton Reporter, the public will have the chance to select the People's Choice Award. All submitted films will be streamed through the Renton Reporter website.

T-Shirts
All directors will receive a special FilmFrenzy T-Shirt. Shirts for team members will be on sale at the Curvee Awards Gala on October 23rd.

Renton FilmFrenzy Screening
ALL films will be shown during the Renton FilmFrenzy Screening from 7-9 p.m., Monday, October 22, at the Renton Civic Theater, 507 South Third Street.

Curvee Awards Gala and Parties
Tuesday, October 25

Curvee Awards Gala 7 – 9 p.m.

The top films will be screened during the Curvee Awards Gala on October 23, at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center, 400 S. 2nd Street.  There is no admission charge and all ages are welcome
